It is only for student in Czech doctoral study programmes.

These students have the opportunity to receive a doctoral scholarship if they meet the following requirements:

- are full-time students
- the standard length of study is not exceeded (i.e. 4 years, interrupted periods are not included)

An interest in the scholarship must be expressed (usually when applying to study at the DSP) by ticking the appropriate box on the application form. Otherwise, by sending a letter of application to the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences.

If the scholarship is awarded, it is paid for the whole academic year, including holidays, i.e. 12 months, and its amount is defined in the following rules (see Appendix 3 for the relevant academic year of Decree 9D/2017 published on the official board of the FAV):

9000 CZK - in 1st year
10500 CZK - from the 2nd year until passing the State Doctoral Examination (SDE)
13500 CZK - after passing the SDE until the end of the standard length of full-time study
