Students enrolled in doctoral study programs at FAV are eligible to receive a doctoral scholarship if they meet the following requirements:

- they are full-time students
- they have not exceeded the standard length of study after taking into account all studies in doctoral programs at universities in the Czech Republic (i.e., 4 years, not counting any interruptions)

Students beginning their studies in the 2025/2026 academic year submit an electronic application for a doctoral scholarship after enrolling in their studies. Other students may be awarded a doctoral scholarship in accordance with Article 4 of Dean's Decree 12D/2022, as amended.

If a scholarship is awarded, it is paid for the entire academic year, including holidays, i.e. 12 months. The amount of the scholarship is determined in accordance with the rules set out in Act 111/1998 on Higher Education Institutions, as amended, §91a concerning doctoral income. 

The amount of the doctoral scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year is set at CZK 24,960 per month.
